Arrive at 6 p.m., sign on as crew, report to
the duty officer, stow gear.

All greenhands muster midship for orders.
Crews and mates will be assigned. Crews tour the Santa Maria.
1845
Galley crew takes charge of meals. Riggers
load cargo. Bosuns make rope and grommets.
1900
The galley crew makes dinner for the crew.
2000
Dinner. Crews mess together.
2045
Crews work the sails, haul cargo and try
their hand at traditional rope work.
2230
Crews muster on the quarterdeck.
2330
First night watch begins.
0200
Adult takes over night watch.
0600
Galley crew is at work on breakfast.
0630
All hands stow gear and muster on deck for
breakfast.
0715
Morning activities. Crews are taught to
climb aloft, map and navigation tasks, work at ship maintenance as needed.
Decks are swabbed, lines are coiled and everything above and below deck is
put in order. Crew earns shore leave by completing maintenance tasks as
ordered!
0945
The Captain musters all hands to issue shore
leave to deserving crew.

Depart for home.
Remember:
Except for the arrival and departure times, the Captain can change anything he
wants! It is possible for a misbehaved sailor to swab the decks for the
entire voyage.

Students should not bring more gear than they can
carry by themselves. Try to fit everything into one bag (a trash bag works great)
rather than many small ones. Mark each bag with the camper's name and group.
